This summer it has been a little bit busy here around the fire light, for varying reasons. But never fear I have been stocking up for when the nights are longer, taking advantage of a trip through Portland tip buy a few books at Powells, a sale at my local indie Elliot Bay Book Co, and my first Associate Reward from Amazon. “Words without Borders” looks beautiful, I love the jacket! Is it good?
I haven’t read it yet. It looks interesting. It has a lot of little pieces and short stories that have never been translated to English before. Just noticed that it had one by Gamal al Ghitani, someone I have followed for a while. I got the book as a premium for donating money towards the Afghanistan issue.
